Attendees from the different provinces of Luzon, took part last weekend in the CAUP Chess Arbitration Seminar held last October 24-25, 2014 at the Me-Sing Resort, Tanauan City, Batangas.
International Arbiter GENE J. POLIARCO discussed the latest changes in the FIDE Laws of Chess as of July 1, 2014. Successful participants received their Arbiter's Certificates as well as those Arbiters who attended this seminar as their refresher course. Among the top-notchers in their evaluation examination were IRENE M. ALCANTARA, FREDERICK MANILAY and JOSE FELIX ROMERO Jr.
